Eligibility Criteria for IBPS PO/MT
1. Nationality:
- Citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee who arrived in India before January 1, 1962
- Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries like Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to settle in India permanently.
2. Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons with Disabilities: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
- Victims of 1984 riots: 5 years.
3. Educational Qualification:
- Graduation Degree: A degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
4. Other Requirements:
- Proficiency in Computers: Basic knowledge of computer operations is required.
- Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in the official language of the state/UT they are applying for.
