- The paper can be written in English or Hindi.
Tier-III (Skill Test/Typing Test)
Skill Test for Data Entry Operator (DEO):
Data Entry Speed Test (DEST):
- Candidates are required to have a data entry speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour on the computer.
- The skill test will be of qualifying nature. The test duration is 15 minutes, and candidates will be provided with a printed matter in English, which they need to type on the computer.
- The test assesses the candidate’s typing speed and accuracy.
Note:
- Exemptions: Some candidates may be exempt from the DEST if they fall under certain categories (like being physically handicapped).
- Typing Test: For other posts like LDC (Lower Division Clerk) and JSA (Junior Secretariat Assistant), a typing test is conducted instead of DEST.
