Eligibility Criteria for RBI Assistant

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 28 years
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years
    • Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years for General/EWS, 13 years for OBC, and 15 years for SC/ST
    • Ex-Servicemen: Service rendered in the Armed Forces plus an additional period of 3 years, subject to a maximum of 50 years
    • Widows/Divorced Women/Women Judicially Separated: 10 years

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Minimum of 50% marks in any discipline from a recognized university. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, passing marks are sufficient.

Nationality

  • Indian Citizen: Candidates must be citizens of India.
  • Subjects of Nepal and Bhutan: Eligible under certain conditions.

Proficiency in Local/Official Language

  • Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state or union territory they are applying for. This includes the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the language.

Other Requirements

  • Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge of computer operations is required.
