The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has announced the Class 5th and Class 8th results for the year 2024. The results were declared on May 30, 2024, at 3:00 PM by Shri Krisha Kunal, the Government Secretary, School Education, during a press conference. This year, a total of 2,690,317 students appeared for these exams.

How to Check RBSE Class 5th and 8th Results 2024 Online

Students can check their results online by visiting the official website of Rajasthan Shala Darpan at rajshaladarpan.nic.in. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to the official website of Rajasthan Shala Darpan: rajshaladarpan.nic.in.
  2. Find the Results Link: Under the ‘Latest Notification’ section, click on the link for RBSE Class 5 or Class 8 result 2024.
  3. Enter Required Details: Enter your roll number and other required details as mentioned on your admit card. These details include:
    • District Name/Application Number
    • School NIC-SD Code/PSP Code
    • Captcha Code
  4. Submit Information: Click on the ‘Search’ button after entering the required details.
  5. View and Download the Result: The result will be displayed on the screen. Download and take a printout of the provisional marksheet for future reference.

Checking Results via SMS

In case there is no internet connection or the website is down, students can check their results via SMS:

  • For Class 8: Type ‘RESULT (space) RAJ8 ROLL NUMBER’ and send it to 56263.
  • For Class 5: Type ‘RESULT (space) RAJ5 ROLL NUMBER’ and send it to 56263.

Important Information to Keep Handy

  • Admit Cards: Students need to have their admit cards handy as they contain the roll number required for login.
  • Provisional Marksheet: The marksheets available online are provisional. Students can collect their original marksheets from their respective schools in a few days.

RBSE 5th and 8th Result 2024: Facts and Figures:-

  • RBSE (Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education) has declared the results for the 5th and 8th classes.
  • Pass percentages for RBSE 5th and 8th classes are 97.06% and 95.72% respectively.
  • Students can check their results on the Rajasthan Shala Darpan portal and the PSP portal.
  • Approximately 12.50 lakh students appeared for the RBSE 8th class exam, while 14.37 lakh students appeared for the RBSE 5th class exam.
  • Around 27 lakh students from government and private schools in Rajasthan received their 5th and 8th class results.
  • RBSE does not have a provision for failing students in the 5th class exam.
  • Students who did not appear for the exam will be given a chance and will be promoted to the 6th class thereafter.
  • However, students who performed poorly in the RBSE 8th class exam may be declared failed.
  • Students who score less than the passing marks may have to appear for the 8th class exam again, but they will also have the opportunity for supplementary exams.
  • Students who perform poorly in the 8th class exam will not be promoted to the 9th class.
  • The RBSE 8th class exam results are provided in grades rather than marks. Grades range from D to E1 and E2. Students with grades up to D are considered pass, while those with E1 and E2 grades are considered fail.
  • The last date for uploading online marksheets for students appearing in the 8th and 5th class board exams was May 6th.
  • Last year, the RBSE 8th class exam results were declared on May 17th.
  • The RBSE 8th class exam was conducted from March 28th to April 4th this year.
  • Approximately 12.80 lakh students are registered for the 8th class exam this year.
