Eligibility Criteria:

Criteria Details
Nationality/Citizenship A candidate must be either (i) a Citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before Jan.1962 to permanently settle in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India, provided that of candidates belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India.
Age Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as of 01.07.2024 i.e. A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2004 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification Graduate degree from recognized universities/Institutes approved by Govt. of India or its regulatory bodies. The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 01.07.2024 and the candidate must produce Mark Sheets and Provisional/Degree Certificate issued from the University/Institute/College as and when required by the Bank.
Duration of Training Total Duration of training will be one year from the date of the contract.
Stipend A monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000/- (including subsidy amount if any by Govt. of India) shall be paid to the apprentice during the period of apprenticeship. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/benefits. UCO bank will make a payment of Rs. 10,500/- into the apprentice’s account every month. The government Share of the stipend of Rs 4500/- will be directly credited to the apprentice’s Bank account through DBT mode as per extant guidelines.

How to Apply:

1. The candidate will have to register and complete his/her profile on the NATS portal https://nats.education.gov.in (Student Register/ Student login), if not done before.

2. A list of documents needed for enrollment is available on the NATS portal under the “Student Register” section. Please ensure all necessary documents are ready before you start the registration process.

3. The candidate will have to fill in the Basic Information, Education Details, Communication Details, Training Details, and Bank details to complete his/her profile.

4. The Student Manual is available on the NATS portal for detailed instruction and guidance.

5. On completion of the registration process, search for UCO Bank Apprenticeship Engagement and then apply.

6. After applying, the candidate can check for application status from the application management.

Note: Candidates can apply for engagement in one state only. Two or more applications from the same candidate will be rejected. The Bank reserves the right to allot training seats in any district of the Selected State as per administrative requirements.

Mode of Selection:

I. Selection will be done through Screening and Personal interviews of the shortlisted candidates at the Bank’s sole discretion. However, in the event of a high volume of applications, the Bank reserves the right to conduct a written test at its sole discretion. In such cases, the selection process may be conducted solely through the written test.

II. If the selection process includes a written test, this will be communicated on the Bank’s website www.ucobank.com->careers. A registration link for the written test, along with payment of the requisite fee, will be made available on the Bank’s website. Candidates must be registered for the written test to participate. Failure to register for the written test will result in the candidate being disqualified from further participation in the selection process. Information regarding the written test, including the date, center, and pattern of the test, will be provided on the Bank’s website. Candidates are required to regularly check the website for updates.

III. The screening committee constituted by the Bank will examine whether the candidates fulfill the required eligibility criteria. The Bank will entertain no representation or correspondence in this regard.

IV. Candidates are required to score a minimum mark in the interview/written test (For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates, 5% relaxation is available thereon). The minimum qualifying in interview/written test will be as decided by the Bank. The merit list will be drawn state-wise and category-wise. Candidates qualified in the test will be placed according to their interview/written marks in descending order in respective States and Categories. In case more than one candidate scores the same marks as cut-off marks in the merit list (common marks at cut-off point) such candidates will be ranked in the merit list according to their age in descending order in respective States and categories.

V. Bank reserves the right to change (cancel/modify/add) any of the criteria, method of selection provisional allotment, etc.

VI. The Bank reserves the right to reject any application not suiting the Bank’s requirements without assigning any reason whatsoever and call only the candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria.
